Downtown Morganton received a visit from Governor Cooper yesterday. He toured several of the small businesses and was able to see the positive work being done in Morganton.
All was quiet inside The Grind Café in downtown Morganton on Tuesday afternoon. And then, seemingly out of nowhere, whispers turned to shouts and clapping began.
